InfoCommFrom the interactive displays in a retail store to a video conference at work or even the digital signage that lights up a late night downtown, professional audio visual technology is all around us. With the increasing prevalence of web streaming, live conferencing and live broadcast services, enterprises have begun to incorporate this technology into their everyday business processes.

Field Nation, the most complete Freelance Management System and SaaS solution for organizations engaging the independent workforce, is supporting the advancement of the AV industry by matching a company’s business needs with the right expertise to install, maintain and fix AV technology anywhere in the country. Recently, our team attended the 2015 InfoComm tradeshow as a sponsor and was able to introduce these opportunities to the industry’s leading professionals and experts.

InfoComm 2015 hosted a record-breaking 38,000 attendees in Orlando, FL, several of which were Field Nation users who took advantage of our free exhibit-hall pass. These users were able to learn, network and explore this $90 billion industry while promoting themselves in the Field Nation marketplace with a short recruitment survey and free professional headshot. The survey results were used to either create a Field Nation profile for new independent contractors, or promote the AV skills of current users. Companies looking to utilize the skills of these freelancers will be able to access an exclusive list for their next AV-centric project via their account manager.

Contractors who were unable to attend but are interested in expanding their AV skills can leverage Field Nation’s partnership with Compass Business Solutions to earn discounts on Cisco certifications and more. Learn how you can get involved here.
