At Field Nation, we work together to achieve great things and break down the barriers to work. This is a guiding principle through which we view the world and much of what we do. We believe so strongly in our collective strength as a group, in fact, that we made working together one of our business values. We are one team, and together, we share one goal and one plan. And we play to win. We are hungry, unafraid, and welcoming of any challenge that we face, knowing full well that our ability to rely on each other to cooperate, coordinate and challenge one another will lead us to unparalleled success.
As I gear up to participate in tomorrow’s MuckFest obstacle run, it is not without reflection on the last several weeks of preparation that have led me to this point. With regard to my colleague and friend, Gabriel Skelly, I feel I must share a story with you that truly embodies the Field Nation spirit and practice of working together to win.
Yesterday, I ran close to a total of three miles by myself. It brought me back to a memory of myself last year around this same time after I had recently dislocated my back. In the memory, I was limping up the very same road upon which I now found myself sprinting down. I would never have had the confidence to do this, to run, had it not been for Gabe, one of our stalwart Account Success Manager’s, motivating me to join him and several others from the Field Nation family in this year’s MuckFest. He encouraged me to run, pushing me each and every week to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday. And now here I am, finding myself a changed person with more confidence and the ability to run all by myself – and I know that I will always be grateful for my Field Nation teammate who challenged me to do this.
This is just one of many examples of how Field Nation is one team that relies on ingenuity, hard work and the unquestionable willingness of each other to engage and assist at all times, whether it is with one another, a client, or you. We work together to win. We work together to shatter preconceived notions of what we think we are capable of. We work together to achieve great things and break down the barriers of work.
