Field Nation Partners with Intuit to Offer Study on the On-Demand Economy

Busy Road with CarsField Nation has partnered with Intuit – the makers of TurboTax and QuickBooks – to conduct a study that will seek to better understand the on-demand economy from the point of view of the independent service provider.

 A press release issued by Intuit and Emergent Research states that the study will provide a “detailed analysis of the demographics, motivations and challenges of workers pursuing on-demand jobs” and that the number of on-demand workers is set to double by 2020.

“It’s vital that we hear directly from the workers who are on the front lines of this shift so that we have the objective data and analysis we need to make informed decisions,” said Steve King, partner at Emergent Research. The use of online platforms like Field Nation has enabled independent service providers to find and easily manage their participation in the on-demand economy and has helped contribute to the explosive growth of the independent segment in today’s marketplace.

Freelancers and service providers who are currently utilizing Field Nation are invited to take part in this study, which is available online until Monday, September 28, 2015.
