Over 600 business owners, executives and government officials were in attendance last night as Field Nation CEO, Mynul Khan, gladly accepted the “Fast 50 Asian American Businesses” Award that was presented by the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC).
Recognized as a thought-leader in the Asian American business industry, USPAACC is the oldest and largest non-profit organization of its kind, and hosts an annual conference to celebrate the achievements of Asian American-owned companies in the United States. Headlining this recognition is the “Fast 50” Award, which is granted to the owner of an Asian American business that has had a positive effect in the corporate community and has expressed significant revenue growth over the past three years.
“Field Nation is honored to be named one of the ‘Fastest 50’ growing businesses by USPAACC,” said Khan, after receiving his award. “They have brought together an amazing and diverse group of successful businesses that spans varying industries and is reflective of the unique background of this country. We are fortunate to be a part of the USPAACC and to connect with some of the biggest and best organizations in the United States.”
Field Nation continues to create waves since being named to the Inc. 500/5000 list of Fastest Growing Private Companies last year. Ranking 43rd overall on Inc. Magazine’s list, Field Nation placed third among “Business Products and Services Companies” and was number one in the state of Minnesota. Remaining in good company, previous members of the Inc. 500 include Microsoft, Pandora and Zipcar.
Attendees of the three-day conference connected with fellow suppliers and buyers in the Asian American and minority business communities through various networking and procurement opportunities. Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies were on hand, as were high-level Federal, State and Local government officials. The key note speech was delivered by Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, Indra Nooyi, who headlined a plethora of featured speakers from major corporations like AT&T, UPS and Best Buy.
