Get smarter about getting work with SmartMatch

Technicians by nature are expert multi-taskers, but even the best techs have a hard time monitoring and requesting work while being on the job/on the road all day. 

Enter SmartMatch, a feature only available with Field Nation Pro. SmartMatch allows you to create rules for the jobs you want – by pay, buyer, type of work, time of day, and travel distance – and get notifications when those jobs are published to the platform. 

For example, say you always have some time in your week from 4 PM – 8 PM on Thursdays, and you’d like to fill that time with work orders on Field Nation. You can create a SmartMatch rule to get notified of work orders within 25 miles of your home between 4 PM and 8 PM on Thursdays for at least $40 an hour for work orders that match your skillset. Whenever a work order that meets your criteria is published on the marketplace, you’ll be the first to know.

When you get the notification, you can tap it to view details, and hit request if it’s a good fit. If it’s not, you can dismiss it. No more monitoring the platform for work and then missing out because you were two minutes slower than the other guy or gal. With SmartMatch, the work you want comes to you. 

Already booked and don’t want tons of notifications for jobs you can’t take? We’ve got you. When work is published that meets your rules, SmartMatch will check your Field Nation calendar to see if you’re available. If you’re not available, you won’t be notified. 

One Field Nation tech named Roman who upgraded to Pro said he saw value from SmartMatch in the first month. “Now that I’m on Pro, I don’t have to fight for work,” Roman shared. “I’ve gotten 3X more work as a member of Pro, and I have more control over my schedule. It’s definitely worth it.”
