4.1.2016, Written by Ross French

Whether you are a senior stakeholder or a daily dispatch manager, quick service that gets it right the first time is the key to your customer’s success.

Ensuring that your parts and equipment arrive on-site and on-time is a critical component in making this happen, which is why Field Nation offers integrated shipping and tracking with a variety of courier delivery providers. In this “How-To” product note, we will show you how to incorporate shipping and tracking into your work orders to help accelerate service delivery.

When creating a work order in Field Nation, you can add shipment tracking information for a variety of delivery providers including FedEx, USPS, UPS, and other local carriers. Our system integration capability will send automatic alerts in real-time that provide insight to providers and buyers into the progress of a shipment. This allows you to see whether a package has been delayed or lost, which will enable you to proactively communicate with an assigned service provider or adjust the timing of a project should schedules change.

Shipping information can be added for parts or package travelling ‘To site’ or From site’.
