Greetings Professional Providers and Buyers,

I am on a little vacation in Boston and am writing this from my son’s home in Milton, MA. My wife and I flew up here for our granddaughter’s baptism, which was held on Sunday. I am now the grandfather of three girls in just the past two and a half years. Time is flying by for me; I remember when my three children were only infants. Now to get down to work – April is coming to a close and May is on the way. Let’s go over a few things together.

We have not covered this topic in quite some time, but I would like to have another conversation about circumventing Field Nation’s system. I occasionally receive reports from service buyers and providers who state they have been approached and even recruited through work orders to conduct work off of the Field Nation platform. From what I gather, the reason being is they want to avoid being charged the 10% fee and are wanting to add to their own personal client base. I want to reiterate to all of you that the procedures and policies we have in place are there to protect both buyers and providers and are there for a reason. Occasionally, as with all platforms that bring people together to get work done, there may come a time when someone invites you to circumvent or go outside the system; however, I want you to think about the seriousness of getting involved in such a situation. We always want to be in the position at Field Nation to protect the interests of all who utilize our services for their business needs. Our policies protect both the buyer and provider throughout the lifecycle of a work order and are agreed upon when anyone signs up to do business on our platform. You can find these policies on our “Legal” page. I would like to suggest that everyone review these terms, so that all policies are easily understood.

If you take the time to read these legal agreements, you will see that the policies are pretty much the same for both buyer and providers. As a reminder, solicitation and circumvention are not a part of the Field Nation agreement with either user. We need to all work together and trust each other to abide by these rules so that all of us can continue to move forward together, safely and successfully.

Every one of us at Field Nation is here to help you promote your business. We want you to succeed! This goes for both buyers and providers alike, because when you succeed, so do we. Think of all we do for you. Because I assure you that we think of all that you do for us every day. We are all about win-win here, my friends, and you all know that.

You can think about it this way – 10% for peace of mind. This is not a steep fee. Not to mention that if a work order is over $1,000, this fee drops to 8%. This is used to process all of your tax information, documentation, and more. Also remember that you can reach right out to me or any other team member at any time – our support team is available 24x7x365 and is equipped to help you address any need that you may have.  So – please review our legal and familiarize yourself with some of the do’s and don’ts. Yes, it can get a bit boring at points, but there is some good information there, so have a look!

Alright then, moving on, I want to stress how very important it is for all users to update your profile! This applies to all users; feel free to check out our easy-to-follow guide for completing your profile here, which walks you through the different sections of your profile. Look and see where you can increase your appeal to clients. And buyers, be sure to check that your company information is correct. It really is as simple as filling in the blanks, my friends. I will tell you again that the “About” section is very important. Tell people know who you are and what your service is all about! Only you can make it happen, so go ahead and “git ‘er done.”

That’s it for this month. I am keeping it short so I can get back to the new addition of our family. May is coming in a few days which means better weather across the board for all of us. We will soon be enjoying the blessing of summer time. Yes!
